All Things Doggo

Is there really anything better to write my first blog post about than dogs? I didn't think so either. To start, let me tell you a little bit about the one and only doggo I've ever had. Her name is June, and she's one year old (her birthday's not actually in June, it's in May... we just like the name!). Cyrus and I bought her from a neighboring farm last year, and she has been our favorite energetic floof ball ever since. I'm not kidding about the floof either. Look at her tail!

These are a few pictures of her a few months after we got her (she made a cameo appearance in our engagement pictures).

Thank was back in summer 2017-- she's grown so big since then!

Anyway, I've always loved animals. Before I realized I'd have to go to school for about 8 years after high school, I even wanted to be a vet. Surprisingly, June is the first dog I've ever had (we had a cat once, but it turns out the neighboring farms with endless supply of fresh milk were more enticing than our house, so... we didn't have that cat for long. Anyway, June doesn't live with us in Waynesboro. She lives at Cyrus' family farm. We'd like to breed her in the future because the world deserves more Norwegian Elkhounds-- they're not a very well-known breed. But, if we get another dog, I'd like to adopt. There are so many precious pups waiting for good homes, and, once we move to the family farm, we'll be living in a dog's paradise.

While I don't get to see June every day, I still get my proper doggo fix by watching plenty of dog vines and cat YouTube videos. Cyrus and I send them to each other allll the time on Facebook and Instagram. To conclude this micro-blog post, here are links to my absolute favorite dog and cat videos of all time.
